We’re in the final crunch for the NBA finals, and the Quest is on!

Because of the slightly lighter schedule tonight, there are two ViggleLive movies.  These movies are here to play along for bonus points with ViggleLive.  You don’t need to be checked into the movie to play along, and there is no check-in bonus.  Enter ViggleLive through the show’s page in the carousel (aka What’s On).

Take note that the Lowes commercial bonus doesn’t start until tomorrow.  We’re including it here today just as a reminder.  It’s also in the sidebar of the blog, which has all ongoing contests, quests, treks, streaks, etc.

TIP 1:  The game ends at 11:30pm tonight. NOTE 1:  As of this posting, The Voice was noted as 8pm ET, then it went to being blank.  The 8pm airing is a repeat.  The 9pm airing is a new episode, and that’s why we’ve listed it as such.  Hopefully Viggle keeps it on the schedule, and it’s set for 9pm (ie: they catch up with US, lol).  If it changes, we’ll let you know.

Q:Multiple times throughout the day I get the mach3 razor 10 point ad and when I click on it, the white viggle offer rewards banner that usually comes after disappears. If I restart the app, the mach3 razor banner ad appears again. I could easily rack up points with this glitch but I don't want to get banned or flagged over this. Have you heard of anything similar or get multiple repeating ads?

As long as a page refreshes, you’re fine.  It’s when people click the same ad on the same page over and over that it’s fraud.  Let’s explain refresh:

If you scroll through the carousel, see some ads, and click them, you’re good.  If you click on a show (let’s say Grimm), and get any ad, and engage it, you’re fine.  Most times once the ad is done, the show page will refresh itself (namely that little white banner area), and if another ad then pops up, you can click it again and be fine.  

If you refresh the carousel (“What’s On”), and get another ad, that’s fine.  How do you refresh the carousel?  In Android, you simply navigate elsewhere, like the Rewards tab, or go to your Points History.  Back out of that, then go back to the carousel, and you’ll see it pause & refresh the feed.  Scroll through it again.  Any ads there at that point are fine.  

But let’s say you see one of those +125 Verizon ads in the 4th spot on the carousel.  You click it, it plays, then you click it immediately again, and again.  Most likely nowadays it won’t give you multiple points even if it plays over and over.  

In MyGuy or ViggleLive, when an ad pops up in a timeout (MyGuy) or between questions (ViggleLive), click it once.  It’ll most likely disappear after you play it anyway.  However, in MyGuy it’ll sometimes stay there.  Don’t click it over and over and over.  That’s fraud, and will get you in trouble, if not removed permanently.  Play it once, and wait for the next one to come up.  

The Mach3 Razor ad comes up a lot on different show pages.  If you see it new every time, not matter the show page, you’re fine to click it & engage it.

Q:Regarding the Ellen problem, I have found that if you audio check-in you will get the actual time. For example I don't usually watch Ellen so I check-in about 10:40AM (Ellen airs at 10AM here in Pittsburgh) and I will get 20 viewing points. I was shopping last week and couldn't audio check-in so I checked in manually and received 60 viewing points. So adjust your viewing day accordingly.

Q:I'm in Honolulu. HST is not an option for Viggle Live check-ins and so I cannot ever do them. Any idea if Viggle plans fixing this? I'd love to do the play along question games while watching a program.

We assume you’re talking about either it not showing up at all, or the option of HT is not in the selection in the times it asks you for your time zone (ie: with Billboard Awards, etc).  That’s a good question.  

Can you not click on the show page when the show is airing in Eastern time & play along?  It’s six hours earlier there, so maybe that’s not an option at all.  We did tweet Viggle about it - let’s see if they respond, and with what option. 

However, it would seem that since all the information in the app comes from Viggle servers, and once the show is airing in Eastern time, that ViggleLive would be live.  So at 2pm your time, can you not click on a show & pull up the ViggleLive? You don’t need to be checked into the show to get into ViggleLive.

Q:I've been getting "kicked out" of the Ellen show. Started Thursday where I was only credited for 43 mins (viggle since topped off) Then Friday it was only 27 minutes and Monday only 8 mins. I am still within my 12 hr/720 point threshold. So confused why it keeps happening. Anyone else?

It has happened with us the first day the show was in the carousel.  In fact, many people were kicked out after 30 minutes that day.  Your best bet is to stay in 10 minutes per usual, then simply get checked into another show for the rest of the afternoon.

Yeah, some folks on Twitter were mentioning that.  We’re in it.

For anyone who missed it, find when it repeats on the west coast, & do a manual check in if necessary.  It’ll probably repeat at 12:30am ET.  Those points will count toward Tuesday’s total, so adjust your check ins tomorrow accordingly.

Q:I don't know if you've ever posted about this before but Best Buy has a Pitch In card which is free to get and can be added to by friends, family, anyone. You can also add gift cards to it, so I combined the four $25 gift cards I've redeemed through Viggle to create one $100 card which I will continue to add to. Seems a little easier than printing out a bunch like in your video. Happy Viggling!

Ahh, good to know.  Sort of like having any gift card that you can recharge, in effect.

Q:Thanks for the info earlier. I think I will go the Best Buy GC route. Good question from the last person. I don't remember getting the option to choose my user ID on Viggle. I could never find the option to change it and now I know why! To the person that asked about joining DirecTV: is Viggle still giving out the massive point bonus for new customers? I seem to remember an ad in the carousel that said something like 400,000 Viggle bonus points for switching to DirecTV.

There was discussing of the 400,000 thing, but new users have reported 5,000, which seems more logical.

Two Things….

1)  It seems Mike & Molly has been pulled from the schedule for whatever reason.  Use Mulan at 9pm to stay checked in during the 9pm hour.  (We’ll edit today’s bonus schedule in a moment.)  If you want to try & check in anyway, you can of course.  No harm.

2)  There is a new Commercial check-in bonus.  It’s a Lowe’s ad.  We just got wind of it (in between tornadoes), so keep an eye out for it.  It’s a one-tine +200 bonus.  We’ll add that to tonight’s schedule as well.  It lasts for the week.
